sorry i have not posted in a while i tried to type one up and it got lost long story short. I will be swearing in and moving somewhere else in kenya on jan 8th more detail to come since i dont even know them...i want to post some old kenya laws from my family's tribe..
1 if you steal a bee hive you owe the man you stole from 7 cows i guess you get to keep the bee hive!
2. If you get a girl pregnant you have to pay the elders a good cow, blankets, and beer. You then could not marry the girl.
3. This law was enforced 30 years ago. If you slept with an elder's wife and got caught you had to pay him 9 cows and i think beer too. It was ok however to sleep with your peers wife or wives.
Keep in mind these are not laws now but maybe the bee hive one and this only for the maisii tribe. I hope everyone had a great x mas and new years. this holiday season was not to same without you!
